This ride has gone to the dogs! We'll start off on the waterfront in Brooklyn (Bushwick Inlet) and take the Williamsburg Bridge to Summer Streets in Manhattan.  First stop will be the Soho Rest Stop featuring a dog park and agility training course where you will get to stretch your 2 legs while your canine gets to stretch out his or her four! Then we'll follow summer streets up for stops at the picnic area and 5bbc table ofcourse! To complete the loop we'll ride across the park and depending on interest head for a lunch stop at Fred's, a dog themed and dog friendly cafe on the Upper West Side.  Then we'll head down the West Side bike path, along the water. At Battery Park we'll regroup and make the decision on whether to schlep our furry friends over the bridge again or take the easy way on the NYC Ferry back to Williamsburg/Bushwick. 

****Please note, we may or may not stop for a full on lunch break.  So pack food or make lunch plans accordingly.

****Also please note that if you want to ride the NYC Ferry the following rule applies:

"Only service animals are allowed on board. For all other animals, we follow a ‘No Paws on Deck’ rule meaning your pet must be in a pet carrier to be allowed on board for the comfort and safety of all riders."

*****What to bring: the regular (extra tube, lock, etc.), $$ for food at Fred's and/or the Summer Streets picnic, and most importantly a safe way to secure your dog while riding such as a dog trailer, basket with harness, or other secure dog transport equipment.  If you want to bring your dog on the ferry you must keep him/her in a pet carrier.
