Morristown Loop, part 1 of a 3 part series.
Primary tabs

Rated as one of the "50 best bike rides" by Bicycling Magazine, the NJ Gran Fondo is a 107 mile Epic ride through some of the best cycling roads in NJ. As its been a long winter, we will be starting off with a little less than half of the total distance, at 42 miles, and around 3000ft of elevation. We will be taking the NJ Transit out to Morristown, and making a loop from there. This will be an advanced moderate ride, and we will be keeping speeds of 15-17mph on the flats, and regrouping on hilltops if needed. We will be stopping for a lunch break in Gladstone, at around the 22.5 mile marker. There is also a bailout here, at the Gladstone NJT Train station. This is the first in a three part series, 42 miles, 62 miles, and 107 miles.
We will be meeting at 7:45 at Penn Station, in the NJ Transit main hall in front of the sculpture. We will be leaving on the 8:11 train to Morristown.
