Waterfront Cruise to Breakfast @ IKEA, & Back
Primary tabs

Our scenic, brisk sortie starts at the Chelsea Pier Carousel, circumnavigates the lower Manhattan waterfront, crosses the Manhattan Bridge, then cruises the Brooklyn waterfront. We arrive with deserving appetites for a casual IKEA food court breakfast nosh. That opens 9:30 AM (1/2 hour earlier than main store). Exiting via the food shopping mall will give us a quick opportunity to stock up on some packaged ethnic takeaways. Then we zip across Brooklyn to the Wille-B and our Manhattan return. Estimated return at Willie B around noon. Optional: Some riders may want to take the free IKEA weekend ferry back to Pier 11 Wall Street.
Trip total is 10ish miles outbound; 6ish return; short and sweet. Pace will be brisk but conversational.
Mostly bike path and bike lanes; , need ability to safely ride these and in some mixed traffic. Ride as a group, only an occasional Point-drop-sweep.
