We're doing an easy trip to Greenpoint to procure Acme yummies for the holidays; might stop on the way back for a coffee or light nosh at a nice local bakery/coffee shop. 

No cue sheet, it's relatively close and therefore a short easy loop of about 10 miles. Start at Manhattan side of 59th St Bridge; end in Manhattan exiting the Willie-b. Bike lanes just 'bout the whole way. Travel as a group. Back in Manhattan by 10 (depending if lines at ACME and if/how long we break for coffee).  Bails galore available via subway. 

BYO carrying capacity for bringing back treats, CASH (only thing accepted), and suitable locking gear (we lock bikes outside), shoes you don't mind standing/walking in (could be a bit of a line waiting to get in).  And of course, bike in good shape, tires pumped up, extra tubes, other supplies you might need. WARNING:  Friends and family might pile on by giving you shopping lists once they hear you're going.

A light rain or drizzle won't deter us, but ride will be sorrowfully canceled if it's really unpleasant. At this point the forecast looks doable (dress andpack appropriately, "in case")
