Several people have asked for rides in the "Get out of Town Series" and this location is a popular one.

NOTE CHANGE IN START LOCATION: We will ride from 241-Wakefield Subway Station in the Bronx up to Yorktown.

NOTE: If you're taking the 2 train, you might have to switch to the 5 at 180th St.

For those on the ride inclined, check out a local county fair: http://www.yorktowngrangefair.org and MAYBE find a place to pick fresh fruit. For those not inclined, we will rest and eat here: https://www.trailside-cafe.com or other options in the area.

Then, either ride back for those who want more miles or catch a train back (Pleasantville is the closest and flattest on the way up - mile 24 and back - mile 44) Based on Jim's advice, which came Friday morning as he picked up sweep duties, I may decide to end the ride at Croton Train Station so please be flexible. It will be easy to find way back to either station I will update cue sheets Friday and bring with options for you to consider on your own if you don't want to stay with the Point Drop Sweep. This will also give options for people who choose to stay at the Fair.
