Welwyn Preserve was part of the Pratt Family estate (like in Pratt Institute and wealthy oil baron) until 1975 when Nassau County acquired the property and dedicated the mansion to the Nassau Holocaust Museum. Although the Museum is closed on Saturdays, we will visit the grounds and have lunch on the property. Bring lunch or $ for it. Rain at start cancels.
