Enjoy a day cycling north of Poughkeepsie. You’ll spend the day taking in the sights of the Hudson River, and the quaint Bard College campus. You’ll cycle on picturesque back roads past apple farms & horse farms, ending at the Poughkeepsie train station.

Average speed: 14-16mphs on flat. Road bikes only.

Snack Stops: Hill Top Deli 12 mile, Taste Bud Cafe at 30 mile, Samuel’s at 40.6 mile.

Where we will meet:  Grand Central Terminal at 8:30am,   Train Time: 8:43am to Poughkeepsie

Technical Training Skills: Hill Climbing

The rides will have a fair amount of elevation gain. Take all hills at your own space but pay attention to technique. It is not just about getting to the top, but in learning how to improve your skills at reading a hill, or improving your technique at conquering the hills.
