UPDATE: It appears we will have a large turnout for this classic ride. Given the size of the ride, we likely will end up closer to a 30 mile ride with no velodrome. The empanada place is small, so it will take sometime to serve us all and meet back by the Bocci Courts.

Time for a 5BBC out-to-lunch bunch version of our classic spring ride - empanadas. Brooklyn and Queens - we meander from the industrial to the bucolic, from the commercial to the high-end and not-so-high-end residential, plus some cemeteries (it's Queens, after all), a ride by the velodrome and those incredible empanadas in Corona for a late lunch. Bring money for those yummy empanadas along with a lock, the usual 5BBC requirements and an upbeat inquisitive attitude.
