We celebrate the start of a new year with a late starting ride to see the annual plunge of the Polar Bears at Coney Island, which plunge will also include our very own Jen Powell.  Please be on time as the Polar Bears run into the Atlantic at 1:00 PM sharp and we want to be there earlier to watch some pre-plunge activities. After the ride depending on time and weather we may stop for a late lunch at a Turkish place on Coney Island Avenue. 

The ride starts in the Parade Grounds, just south of Prospect Park, by the bathrooms located on the west side of the park.  Please bring some snacks, a lock if you want to roam in Coney Island, and money for lunch.
