Garden City and Hewlett Harbor - A Reprise of a Long Island Adventure
Primary tabs

As some of you know, I came down with a pretty vicious virus that knocked me out for the last week. I'm slowly coming back and headed in the right direction, but I'm looking to give myself another day to rebound and so the ride is being moved to Sunday the 13th. Additionally, once the ride begins, if I'm not quite up to pointing the whole thing, Mike Moses has agreed to jump in and point (thank you Mikey). See you Sunday at this fun ride
The first version of this ride was a fun-filled success for all, and we received multiple requests from those unable to make to schedule it again, and we are pleased to have recent leadership class graduate, Patricia Chew as a colead. What more could you ask, other than for the weather to cooperate.
So, come join us for a new, fun, fairly flat 50 mile ride that combines two of our non-north shore favorite Long Island locations, Garden City and Hewlett Harbor. This may be a ride of a thousand turns, but you will enjoy most of them, as once we arrive at our various destinations, we meander about getting a flavor for the areas.
In order to help with planning, if possible, please register for the ride. Bring the usual including snacks, hydration, lunch or money for lunch and a fun inquisitive attitude.
