FRIDAY EVENING UPDATE: Under normal circumstances, we would not cancel this ride. The rain is supposed to arrive early afternoon. However, this ride involves riding to different locations and stopping to relate stories or information. The prime stories are in the latter part of the ride. Telling and hearing stories in rain, even light rain, is not fun. So, we are cancelling and will see about trying on a different date once schedules can be coordinated.

We're back for our own 5BBC fall classic, as the playoffs begin and we head to the World Series. Don't just sit in the bleachers! Take a ride with a number of short stops, as we explore a small slice of Brooklyn's baseball history. where prospects grew and players lived. For the non-baseball fan, we will have interesting Brooklyn streets and sights, a few stories and as always a good food stop. Bring hydration, money for food, an inquisitive attitude and a good sense of humor. Baseball jersey optional.
