I scouted a longer version of this from Manhattan last Sunday and the place for lobster was amazing and REASONABLE! (As long as you like smallish ones, larger ones are a bit pricier).

We will start at GAP and pass through the Rockaways (new boardwalk) Atlantic Beach and Long Beach, ending at Long Beach LIRR (officially).

This is a one-way ride, but some of the group may ride back so it's 25 miles if you do it one way and 50 back.

We want to give people the flexibility to enjoy as much time as they may want at the beach they liked the most on their way back.

We won't be stopping at the beach on the way out, only after on the way back.

Bring the usual - especially a beach towel if you plan to hit the beach/ocean.

PLEASE REGISTER as we'd like to make advance arrangements with the lobster place so we are not waiting a long time for food - and also would not want to leave without you if you were on your way.

PLEASE CHECK WEB SITE FOR LAST MINUTE CANCEL IF WEATHER IS REALLY AWFUL. I Don't mind riding in rain and it may start later in day but be aware that as of Friday 2pm, beaches have been announced to be closed Sunday so plan accordingly. Lobster is worth a bit of rain :)
