Ride The Hudson Valley
Saturday, July 23, 2016 - 09:30

THIS RIDE IS CANCELLED BECAUSE OF THE HEAT. THERE ARE LIMITED REST STOPS AND NO BAIL OUT POINTS. LOOK FOR IT TO BE REPOSTED A WEEK LATER.

This is a 50 mile ride. This time we start from the Beacon train station, cross the Hudson River over the Newburgh-Beacon bridge, meander around the other side of the river and end at the Poughkeepsie train station, crossing the river back over the Mid-Hudson bridge. Moderately hilly with some climbing, 3300 feet elevation gain, low to moderate traffic, pretty roads:) We'll try to keep 15mph pace on flats. Lunch is again at Cafe Mio in Gardiner at mile 24.

Grab breakfast in the morning and eat it on the train, there will be no food break until lunch.

We will only ride if the chance of precipitation is negligible!
