This is one of the all time favorite spring rides.  We will board the train at Grand Central Station and ride to Brewster, New York where we will pick up the Putnam Trailway one mile out of Brewster.  This is a scenic mostly car free 50 mile ride that slopes slightly downhill all the way back to Van Cortlandt Park.  We will stop at one of the nice cafes along the way and either eat there or carry our lunch to a picnic location.  Bring money for lunch, two spare tubes, water bottles. Metro North train pass and one way train fare from GCT to Brewster.   Either purchase your ticket in advance or at one of the ticket vending machines at GCT on the day of.  

Arrive at GCT no later than 8:15 a.m.  We will take the 8:50 a.m. train to Brewster.  

Registration and RSVP necessary because we must book our event and rider number with Metro North in advance.
