The forecast for Saturday is awful, cold and rainy.  We are moving the ride to Sunday, but with a slightly later start time of 10:30.  Given that I am still recovering from a virus I have also changed the pace of the ride to moderate. 

The spring training series continues with a ride to the Jersey enclave of Ridgewood. This is a new and fun ride in the spring training series.  We ride via a changing landscape that includes, suburban riding, some urban riding (Hackensack) and a lovely multi-use path by the Saddle River.  Lunch will be in Ridgewood, which offers many options on or just off Main Street.  On the way back we climb Walnut.  Bring a lock, money for lunch, and an inquisitive attitude. Ride will end when we cross GWB back into Manhattan, but there will be folks headed down Riverside Drive back towards Central Park.
