It was the Jewish holiday of Purim earlier this week so what better way to celebrate the dawn of spring than to inaugurate the last borough's "lost synagogues" ride. We've done Brooklyn, Queens Staten Island and the Bronx - by far the most to choose from are on Manhattan itself. We will mostly circle the Island and head inland on the Lower East Side and Upper West Side and a few other points of interest to see what charming architectural gems are now performing other functions but were once synagogues. Length is max 30 miles but will not be too long or too hard as we will have lots of stops. Bring your own food or we will have a stop early to pick food up to enjoy at a stop along the way around the lunch hour.
