It's tiime to welcome Spring!  The days are getting longer, the temps are getting warmer.  And wanderlust is in the air.  On the New Rochelle shore of Long Island Sound, there are three scenic waterfront parks - Glen Island, Five Islands and Hudson.  From the photogenic mini castle at Glen Island to the small bridges connecting the Five Islands, there are lots of great things to see on this ride.  We also ride through the historic Sutton Manor section of New Rochelle.  Several Blocks of houses you would love to live in.  Lunch is at the tasty Tailgate Smokehouse Grill, though veggies found nearby sustinance on bustling North Ave.

Join us as we explore this interesting area of Westchester County.  We will try and ride back to Central Park -but the last time we did this ride we ended up with some folks riding back, some training back, and others heading to nearby Gun Hill Brewery.  The Sweep will be riding at a 12 MPH Pace.  Please make sure that you can keep this pace throughout the ride.  Bring your lights, MetroCard and rail pass ust in case.  And remember to check the web page and fb page in case of bad weather for cancellations or delayed start.

Bring:  Lock, snacks [late lunch], spare tubes, camera and a great attitude.
