One Tom's, Two Tom's, Three Tom's, Four. . .

Who the heck is Tom? Why are there so many NYC restaurant's named after him? Why would anybody ever write a song about hanging out there? Where is there (it's controversial)? Discover it all in this classic NYC-centric ride of the peculiar and random. We'll cruise from Grand Army Plaza to Tom's of Prospect Heights to 2 Toms of Gowanus to Toms (the shoe people have cafe! Who knew) to the Tom's of Seinfeld Fame where we will luxuriate in a Broadway shake or two and talk about what else. . .nothing. Return is through Central Park and then back over the Queensborough Bridge and eventually back to Brooklyn. Bring the usual- spare tubes, thermos for a hot beverage stop, money for lunch, lights (in case it gets late), and an enterprising/open spirit. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS A RIDE ON NYC STREETS (SOME OF WHICH ARE IN TERRIBLE CONDITION DUE TO THE SNOW REMOVAL) BECAUSE OF THIS A MOUNTAIN OR STURDY BIKE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT WE WILL BE CARRYING OUR BIKES UP ONE SET OF STAIRS. BECAUSE OF THIS TRY NOT TO OVERPACK WITH GEAR. THANKS!
