RIDE IS CANCELLED
Monday, January 18, 2016 - 10:00

THE RIDE WILL START AND FINISH AT THE MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY. We'll ride in the area from 59th Street to 155th Street, river to river. We will briefly stop at places of interest related to Martin Luther King and to African Americans who served valiantly in the United States military. We'll finish at Central Park West and West 72nd Street, with the opportunity to visit the NY Historical Society. On the day of our ride, the Society will host the New York Regiment United States Colored Troops Reenactors. As the group writes on its Facebook page, we will learn about the 26th United States Colored Troops and the Black sailors of the Union Navy in the War to End Slavery.

Bring an extra layer of clothing, drink, snack, pump and tube, a lock for your bike, and money for admission to the museum ($20). Pack lunch or bring money to buy lunch.

Watch the Member Forum at 5bbc.org for weather-related updates about our ride.
