Manhattan's Hudson River Greenway is crowded, but you can find riding room -- at 6:15 AM on a weekday. Let's meet at the Eleanor Roosevelt statue (72nd St. and Riverside Drive), proceed down to the greenway, and go either north to the lighthouse or south to Battery Park. We should be finished by about 7:30. Distance is approx. 12 miles and the pace is moderate. Use the facilities in advance; there are no rest stops.
