Central New Jersey Reprise – Trails, Paths, Parks, Backroads, Horses and Assunpink
Primary tabs

Well the ride on October 4th was incredible, but unfortunately a number of folks were unable to attend when we changed the date due to the weather on October 3rd. So we are having a quick reprise, but on a Friday. Play hooky, it is worth it.
This is a new and a relatively easier 50 mile Central Jersey ride with only 1,100 feet of climbing. Join us for a ride that takes us from suburbia, to Assunpink, to a horse park, to community parks and back to suburbia. On the way we will travel along trails, bike paths, quiet backroads and some busier suburban streets. Lunch is at an Italian place. This is a scenic and fun ride.
We will meet at the Princeton Junction Train station at about 9:30 AM. We expect some riders will be arriving via car pools, but there are New Jersey transit trains that leave Penn Station that stop at Princeton Junction including one at 8:13 that arriives at about 9:26. The leaders will not be on the train, but will be part of the car pools, but some folks took the train on October 4th and met us without an issue..
THIS RIDE REQUIRES PRE-REGISTRATION. If interested in the ride, please contact Bill Mastro at billm45s@verizon.net and let me know if you will be arriving via NJ Transit, or if you need a ride or if you have a car and bike rack and would be willing to take some riders with you. Some of those heading to the start will likely meet at the Dunkin Donuts parking lot on 4th Avenue and 93rd Street in Bay Ridge near the last stop of the R train. We will try to help coordinate carpooling, but that will be based upon availability of seats and room on bike racks
This is a moderate ride, but we will keep a steady pace in order to be back before dark. There are no bail out options.
Please bring money for lunch, plenty of hydration, spare tubes, perhaps a lock, and an inquisitive attitude.
