Send in the Calvary
Primary tabs

Calvary Cemetery in Queens is one of the most underrated places in New York. It features the moving Civil War Monument and amazing Tiffany stained glass mausuleums. But this ride has so much more. We head to the "Land of the 60's" to visit Metropolitan Oval, a historic soccer field with an amazing view. We visit Stockholm Street, a/k/a "The Yellow Brick Road." We cross the Borden Street and Carroll Street retractile bridges [the country only has four bridges of this type]. Lunch is at the always fun Bohemia Gardens. In short, this is a nice urban ride, with lots to see.
Bring: plenty of water, snacks, spare tubes, and a sense of adventure.
