Brooklyn Ride to Cross Fit

We'll take a direct route from Grand Army Plaza, covering about 10 miles at a relaxed pace. This will be our warm-up for an introductory class to the Crossfit style of training. There is no charge for this class, but participants must sign a waiver provided by the facility operator.
Bring sunscreen, water, lock for your bike, and snacks for the ride. For the fitness class, be sure to have sneakers, a towel, a lock for a locker, water, and a change of clothing if desired. NO CLEATED SHOES ARE PERMITTED IN THE CROSS-FIT AREA. THIS INCLUDES SHOES WITH RECESSED CLEATS OR SHOES TO WHICH CLEAT COVERS HAVE BEEN ATTACHED.
Please register for this ride so that I may contact the Crossfit facility with the expected number of participants. I would like to do so by Monday night, August 10.

This class can accommodate people of varying levels of fitness, but please consult the website to make sure that this is for you.
Our class will start at 10:30 AM, so we'll need an early start to be ready to workout with time to spare.
