DON'T WORRY! Everyone. Don't let the concern of possible rain in the afternoon stop you from enjoying the Fourth. If the weather turns rainy, we can hop on the Light Rail back to the PATH Train.
Happy Birthday America!! We'll start at one of New York's most enduring edifices, City Hall. Proceed to a symbol of our endurance, the New World Trade Center. Take the PATH train to a statue of a legendary example of our ability to evolve, Jackie Robinson. Ride down John F. Kennedy Blvd. Stop at a statue of a man who guided us through the most traumatic period since our birth as nation, Abraham Lincoln. Take quiet streets through small town USA, Bayonne. Travel two miles off shore to a Cold War advasaries gift to us to help see our way through the tradgedy of 911. Lunch at the Broadway Diner(Can you get more American than that?). Then, on to a gift from one freedom loving democracy to another, the Statue of Liberty. Next, a walk through empty skies. Finally, we'll take the PATH back to Manhattan where the Fire Works will happen later that evening. Unabashedly we say, Happy Birthday America, the Greatest Country in the World. The place and people who lauched human kind on the path to freedom and human dignity.
