Street Art/Graffiti Ride - Brooklyn/Queens
Primary tabs

A outdoor tour of graffiti and street art in Brooklyn and Queens. Bring a light lock and money for lunch (or pack yourself something to eat). Helmet required. Experience New York City in a new way!
We'll start at 11am at Bicycle Roots, a local Crown Heights bike shop partnered with the 5BBC. Please show up on time (or a few minutes early) and ready to roll! From there, we'll head to Gowanus to check out some Groundswell murals, bike over to Bushwick and check out the Bushwick Collective and grab lunch at Arepera Guacuco, then go through Williamsburg for some more street art, pop over the Pulaski Bridge to LIC where we pay our respects to 5Pointz (RIP), and book up to Astoria to see the Welling Court murals. After that, we'll make a quick pit stop at Socrates Sculpture Park and then head back along the water via Vernon and Kent to Bicycle Roots. You can always take a short cut home over the Triborough, Queensborough, or Williamsburg bridges if you're visiting from Manhattan and parts west.
CHECK BACK SATURDAY NIGHT OR EARLY SUNDAY MORNING TO SEE IF WE HAVE A RAIN CANCELLATION! If there are only light showers expected and riding seems safe, we'll go for it. If the rain is torrential or lightning is striking, we'll probably reschedule for a few weeks from now.
