Never been to the Blessing of the Bikes? Me neither. Or perhaps you have and are looking for some company on the ride from Brooklyn to St. John the Divine where it is being held. Join us as we take a happy face paced ride (10 miles in an hour or an hour and fifteen minutes). We meet at Borough Hall and leave immediately after the 2 minute bike check which will start sharply at 7:30am. We will cross the Manhattan bridge then make our way across lower Manhattan to the west side bike trail all the way to the Upper West Side where we will join the service. After the service, you can leave, or join the ride traditionally led by our immediate past president Liz Baum and her co-leader Ed Pino, as they take us to Bike Expo where you can visit the 5BBC booth #108 among MANY other cool Bike Expo exhibitors. Check the web site before heading out for last minute cancellation but unless the weather is impossible, and they cancel the service, at least one leader will be going!
