Reason has trumped wild hope.  Winter has won this round.  The forecasted wind chills in the morning are just too cold; we will have to cancel. 

Southern Brooklyn that is.  Remember that device you have with two wheels that has become a clothes hanger during this endless, awful winter?  Well we are going to try to put it back to use and remind the muscles what it is like to ride a bike.  This will be a relatively quick (but moderate paced)  20-25 miles ride around southern Brooklyn - just a ride, minimal stops, no lunch stop, as I have to be back early.   Ride will end at southern entrance to Prospect Park near Park Circle.  Bring snacks, creaky muscles, warm clothing and your cabin fever.  We are hopeful temps will be around 30, but check back Saturday morning to be sure ride is on.  Really low temperatures or bad wind chills will unfortunately result in another cancellation.
