We'll take a ride down the "Canyon of Hero's" to the Staten Island Ferry and on to well, Staten Island. Then, we'll bike down along Richmond Terrace, tracing the Old B & O Railroad to the abandoned station ancient/retired mariners used to take to their last Port of Call. Their destination and ours, Sailors Snug Harbor is only a few steps more. The sprawling, historic, beautiful and once retirement home for sailors boasts buildings with truly breathtaking details. And, to put the cherry on the top, there's the Chinese Scholars Garden.
