A ride down to the Rockaway's stopping at the Bungalow Beach Bar for lunch. We will be on bike paths under the Verranzano to the Rockaways and riding through the Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge on the way back. Depending on the group size etc. we may defer lunch until we reach Sheepshead Bay on Emmons Ave. Bring $$ for lunch, snacks, 2 water bottles, a lock, rain gear, spare tubes, and your metro card. Rain at the start cancels the ride. Shooting for 12-15 mph but it's my first ride of the season so it may be closer to 12 than 15. .
