Bridges of New York
Primary tabs

Starting at 7:00 AM (yes, 7:00 AM, baby) we’ll ride to go over as many bridges in the Big Apple, through four boroughs. This is not for the faint of heart. Riders must be able to keep a constant 10-12 mph pace, climbing HILLY bridge passages, be alert of busy traffic, walk bikes when needed and be mindful of pedestrians on the greenways. We’ll be going through many, many, many, many famous neighborhoods, maybe could be your own – Gowanus, Chinatown, Williamsburg, Long Island City, Harlem, Yankee Stadium, Inwood, etc. Ride ends at the Jersey side of the George Washington Bridge by 12 noon, sooner or later (no guarantees, baby). Option to ride an additional 10+ miles (with one more HILLY climb) to Hoboken, with lunch at Edgewater’s Mitsuwa Japanese market. Thereafter, ride along the Henry Hudson Walkway to either a PATH train or a NY Waterway ferry, at Hoboken, to New York City, near the Chelsea Piers start. Be sure to wear liberal amounts of sunscreen, two water bottles or hydration pack. Suggest a camera to remember the moments.
