A Ride to City Limits Diner
Primary tabs

This is a 31 mile round trip ride to one of my favorite restaurants in Westchester, the City Limits Diner located in White Plains (www.citylimitsdiner.com). We'll be riding through Westchester as it comes alive with the early spring. We meet at Broadway & 242nd Street in the Bronx at the end on the No.1 subway at 9:00. From there we’ll head North up the South County Trail to Palmer Road, Yonkers, where we turn right and ride East to pick up the Bronx River Parkway Trail. We'll take the Bronx River Parkway Trail North to White Plains to the diner for an early lunch. After lunch, we may vary the route back to Van Cortland Park by taking Routh 119 West to Elmsford to the South County Trail.
==> This is an Advanced Ride, so we’ll keep a 13-14 mile per hour pace. Don’t sign up if you can’t keep up.
N.B.: We’re starting early at 9:00 to avoid the predicted rain in the afternoon.
Helmets are required on all 5BBC rides.
Bring money for lunch, a spare tube, and water.
Bring a bike lock to secure your while we’re at lunch.
Morning rain cancels this ride, so check the 5BBC website before heading out.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: YOU MUST HAVE AND WEAR A MASK WHEN NECESSARY ON ALL 5BBC RIDES AS INDICATED BY THE RIDE LEADER. THIS RIDE HAS THE POSSIBILITY OF SPENDING SOME PERIOD OF TIME INDOORS. IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE AND JOIN ANY INDOOR ACTIVITY, YOU MUST BE MASKED, VACCINATED AND BRING PROOF OF VACCINATION. ADDITIONALLY, THE 5BBC MAKES NO REPRESENTATION AS TO THE VACCINATION STATUS OF ANYONE ON THE RIDE OR ENGAGED IN ANY ACTIVITY, INDOOR OR OUT. THE RISK INVOLVED IN ANY ACTIVITY ON THE RIDE IS ASSUMED BY EACH INDIVIDUAL RIDER.
The cue sheet and Ride with GPS directions will be available on this website later this week.
