On our ride to Hartsdale did you like the Bronx River Greenway with its short steep hills, sharp turns, narrow bridges to go over, and low bridges to go under? If so, you will love this ride to Kensico Dam which takes the Bronx River Greenway end-to-end in both directions. The route includes a 2-mile (approx.) unpaved segment, reasonably navigable but there's a paved alternative in case of mutiny.

We start at 242nd St & Broadway just inside Van Cortlandt Park 2 blocks south of the rest rooms. Lunch will be outdoors in Kensico Dam Plaza; you can bring your own or pick up lunch en route.

You should be comfortable riding in a group. Helmets are required on all 5BBC rides and you should carry a spare tube and water.

Check your email before setting out. You will be notified of any change in plans by 8:00 AM.
