Myles and Mel are at it again.  Come join us as we explore the scenic shores of The Bronx.  We depart from Columbus Circle, cut through Central Park and across the connector to Randall's Island.  From there we head through the South Bronx and down the ramp from 174th Street into Starlight Park.  In order we then visit Concrete Park, Soundview Park, Harding Park, Classon Point, and Putsley Creek Park.  Then it's through Soundview and over to Parkchester for Lunch.  Various popular lunch spots here.  BUT, save room for dessert - as after lunch is it a short ride to Morris Park Avenues where we visit Conti's Bakery.  Conti's has been in Morris Park since 1921.  Did anyone say canolli?

We head back through Van Nest and 180th Street with a stop at the waterfall.  Then back through Crotona Park, , down through the Bronx using the new Jackson Avenue Bike Trail, across the Madison Avenue Bridge and down Fifth Avenue.  Ride ends at the North East corner of Central Park - convenient to many subways.

Bring a good solid lock, spare tube, snacks if you get hangry.  Remember that it is winter and to dress appropriately.  If your feet, hands and ears are not happy - you wont be happy.  In case of bad weather - please check the website for cancellation or delayed start.  Ride is limited to 15 lucky cyclists.
