Bronx Shores and Parks 2022
Primary tabs

The 5BBC. has done versions of this ride for many years - and with good reason. But every year, the ride has gotten better as The Bronx has added new cycling infrastructure. We leave from Columbus Circle and take the connectors to and from Randalls Island. We ride up through the South Bronx and then begin our parks adventure. We roll down Starlight Park [maybe the new bridge is open], Concrete Plant Park, Harding Park, Classon Point and Pugsley Creek Park. Lots of great waterfront views along the way. Lunch will be in Parkchester where there are Indian, Mexican and Pizza options. Then we ride back with a stop at the beautiful Bronx Park Waterfall. Crossing the Madison Avenue Bridge, it's back to Fifth Avenue and our finish at the North East Corner of Central Park.
The ride is 27 miles, and only a little over 700 feet in elevation. No soul crushing hills. Make sure to bring ample water, sturdy locks, snacks, and a love of the Boogiedown Bronx. If you don't already love The Bronx - you will after this ride. Here is the route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/41004529
