Join us on this last summer weekend Sunday fun day for this very popular 5BBC Club ride.  Starting at Cedar Creek Park, we will ride the Wantagh Bike Pathway to the bike/pedestrian trail of the Ocean Parkway Coastal Greenway to Captree State Park.  We will enjoy the wonderful nature of sky, sea, and sand, riding by Tobay Beach and Gilgo Beach.  We will ride 5 miles south on the greenway from Cedar Creek Park the 13 miles east out to Captree.  We will pick up lunch at Captree State Park. Possibility to add on west end option to the new environmental center, adding on a few extra miles.

We will be meeting at Cedar Creek Park, approx.one mile from the Wantagh LIRR station.   If you drive out to Cedar Creek Park, go to parking lot #5 and we will meet by the bike satue at the start of the bike path.  This ride is moderate-lite with a distance of 40 miles, pace of 12 mph, and little elevation and almost no stops.  Hoping for very mild headwinds but can be strong. 

Please make sure your bike is in good working order.  Please bring your helmet, mask, spare tube, sunscreen and hydration.
