Starting from Huntington LIRR station, this is a really flat ride on mostly quiet, low trafficked roads to Bergen Point.  There are some really long stretches with few stop lights/signs, so we can stretch our legs out on this one.  We will stop at a deli right on the docks, where they have some picnic tables and we can gaze out on the bay. We will be eating outdoors and can separate amongst the tables. Afterwards we return to Huntington.

There is a LIRR train arriving at 9:35 in Huntington.  We will meet in the parking lot as soon as the train arrives.  If you're driving, you can park at the railroad station for or you can look for free parking outside on the street not far from the station.

Please bring snacks, hydration and an upbeat inquisitive attitude ready to explore.
