This is a 40-mile moderate* scout ride to Hoboken, NJ. Starting at Dinoaurs Playground at 97th Street & Riverside Drive, we will travel to Fiore's deli, which is known for its freshly made mozzarella cheese and Italian sandwiches, peppers, pasta, bread, etc. Bring a back pack or mussette bag to safely ride home with your goodies.

This is a ride with a few twists and turns and with a moderate climb back to the GWB. (However, if you are too full or would like to bypass the hills, there are options to bail in Hoboken with the Path, NJ Transit, or NY Waterways.) As this is a scout ride there may be a wrong turn or two due to changes along the waterfront. Still, the ride is rather scenic with lovely views of Manhattan.

All riders should bring the usual accouterments for a comfortable and safe ride i.e. spare tubes and tools to fix a flat, handpump or COs cartridges, 2 water bottles (electrolytes and water are recommended as this is summer), snacks, masks, sunscreen, metrocard, and money.

NOTE: Moderate Rides range from 12-15 mph with point, drop, sweep. Suitable for intermediate riders as well as advanced riders who want more of a tour pace. All riders must be comfortable cycling across bridges and be able to maintain the minimum pace noted. Riders unable to meet these requirements will be released from the ride.
