Ride to Clams or other Seafood or Fish - not lobster season!
Primary tabs

The best laid plans....
It isn't really lobster season and a 40-50 mile ride as the days keep getting shorter, not such a great idea.
So here is plan B. Maybe Rolling to Randazzos for clams, seafood and Brooklyn's best chowder
We will meet at the Parade Grounds and head down to Sheepshead Bay via some interesting riding along the way to make it about half the distance ride - call it 20-25 miles max.
Lunch will be at Randazzos' - they make some great chowders to warm the souls and it won't break the bank to have some seafood :) which we have always found pretty good.
Here is their web site - check it out: https://randazzosclambar.nyc/
This will be another Happy Face / Moderate ride. I will be up front going as fast as I can (aka Moderate pace of 12-14 on the flats) and Maureen is going to gladly sweep at whatever pace our slowest rider needs to go (hopefully in the 10-12 range on the flats). Who knows, Maureen may point and Allan Sweep. We shall see - the goal is to make it a fun ride, eat some good food and get home in plenty of time before it gets dark.
All usual club rules apply - please wear helmet and have mask, we will dine outside in their back area where they have room for us to sit socially distant.
IMPORTANT REQUIREMENTS: A reminder that you must register for the ride and that the exact start location will be forwarded to the registered riders. Please 'unregister' if you can not make the ride so waited list folks can move up and take the slot. All riders should come equipped with a mask, hand sanitizer/wipes, a spare tube, sunscreen, snacks and a bike in good condition, as well as being familiar with the current criteria for riding with the Club.
Come join us for Plan B and one of Brooklyn's hidden gems where there is something for everyone
