Let's take advantage of the car-free time on Park Avenue on Saturday, August 7th to ride South to Governor's Island.  We'll meet at the 5BBC table at Park Avenue and E 25th Street. There's a ferry ride to the island and we'll take a leisurely tour around the island where you won't believe the view of Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty.   Easy flat ride.   

FERRY INFO: Passengers ride free on Saturdays and Sundays before noon. Ferry Schedule to Island:  10am, 10:40am, 11:20am, 12:00pm, 12:40pm, 1:20pm, etc.  After Noon, $3 or free for Seniors over 65, military, IDNYC holders, NYCHA residents, children under 12.   Return ferry schedule on Sunday, 1:00pm, 1:40pm,2:20pm, 3:00pm, 3:40pm, 4:20pm, 5:00pm, 5:40pm, 6:20, Last Ferry 7:00pm.

There are food concession options available on the island and plenty of open air seating to sit down and eat safely.  You are also encouraged to bring your own snacks and lunch.  We'll return on the ferry to Manhattan where the ride will officially end.  

You must be a member of the Five Borough Bike Club and register for the ride.  All club rules apply.  Covid precautions also apply.  Please unregister if you are unable to make it so if there is a waiting list someone can take your spot.  Ride limited to 12.
