Enjoy the view! This ride was designed for its magnificent views of NY Harbor, Liberty Island, Ellis Island, and Lower Manhattan. 

Meet at the 5BBC Summer Streets Table, Park Avenue South at 25th Street, 10:00 AM. If you get there early you can ride Summer Streets or schmooze with your 5BBC friends.

First we ride to the Staten Island Ferry Terminal.

From the Staten Island Ferry, the ride includes the Staten Island North Shore, Bayonne Bridge, Bayonne, Port Liberte, and Liberty State Park. Finish is in Jersey City with options of PATH or ferry back to Manhattan.

We will ride at a happy-face pace, approximately 10 mph. There is one hill of significance (the bridge!) and it's a doozy but you can walk the bridge path and we will wait at the top. Nobody gets left behind.

Participation is limited to 12 riders. You will be notified if you are a participant or wait-listed. If the latter, you will again be notified as soon as you come off the wait list.

Check your email before setting out. Any changes will be emailed to registered participants by 8:00 AM on ride day. 

Lunch is al fresco in a park with view of the bridge and the Kill van Kull. Lunch pickup is at a nearby deli or pizzeria or you can bring your own.

Important: you must remove yourself from the list if you will not be riding. Or email the ride leader jzisfein@gmail.com. Failure to follow this instruction could get you restricted from signing up in the future.

Other stuff: Helmets are required on all 5BBC rides. Also bring a spare tube and water. Face coverings are required on public transit and (if you are not yet vaccinated) when you cannot maintain social distance.
