The 5BBC spring training series continues! This week our ride goes to the town of River Vale in northern Bergen County. We can benefit from the training of earlier rides and up the cruising speed to 13-14 mph on level roads. Hills? Yes, they have them in Bergen County.

*** Due to weather, ride will go to Cresskill instead. Total distance 25 miles.

Participation is limited to 12 riders. Everyone else gets wait-listed. You will get an email when a slot opens.

Ride start and end is in Riverside Park. Exact start location and GPS/cue sheet will be emailed to registered participants.

Check your email before setting out. Any changes will be emailed to registered participants by 7:30 AM on ride day. 

Please use the rest room at the ride start. The first rest room stop is at mile 13.

Lunch is outdoors in lovely Pascack Brook County Park. Bring your own or food can be purchased at a nearby deli.

*** After Cresskill we will turn around and come home.

Important: you must remove yourself from the list (or email ride leader jzisfein@gmail.com) if you will not be riding. Failure to follow this instruction could get you restricted from signing up in the future.

If you do this ride you should not be on the list for the Sunday 4/18 River Vale #2 ride. These rides are the same and we want to save slots for other club members.

Other stuff: Helmets are required on all 5BBC rides. Carry a spare tube and water. We're still in a pandemic so wear a face covering and keep social distance.
