The new maybrook trail has been completed, so let's take a nice ride through upstate New York on the new maybrook with awesome nature at its best.  This trail was once a train line of the new york and new haven hartford railroad.  It also connected to waterbury, branchin, derby Connecticut.  Now it has become part of the empire state trail that runs from nyc to the canada. We will stop at in hopewell jct for lunch so bring a pack lunch where there is a nice  park to sit down to eat  then continue down the trail to the village of brewster where you can take metro north train back to nyc or continue on the old put trail for 52 more miles back to the bronx your choice but the ride ends in brewster.

All Covid criteria applies. YOU ARE GOING TO NEED THE 7:45AM TRAIN OUT OF GRAND CENTRAL TERMINAL  TO GET TO POUGHKEEPSIE BUY 9:48AM 

IF YOU FORGET YOUR LUNCH WE WILL STOP BEFORE GOING ON THE RAIL TRAIL

 WE MEET ON THE UPPER LEVEL  AT THE TAXI AREA.
