The Bayonne Bridge
Primary tabs

This ride was designed for its views of NY harbor, Liberty Island, Ellis Island, and Lower Manhattan. When we did it on December 12th, unfortunately, the fog was so thick that we could barely see the outlines of these attractions. So we're trying again on a day when fog is not predicted.
We will take the 10:00 Staten Island Ferry from the Manhattan terminal. Our route includes the Staten Island North Shore, Bayonne Bridge, Bayonne, Port Liberte, and Liberty State Park. Finish is in Jersey City with options of PATH or ferry back to Manhattan. This short ride should be finished by early afternoon.
Participation is limited to 8 riders. Everyone else gets wait-listed. The club website may not update your wait list status but you will get an email when a slot opens.
Meet-up instructions and GPS/cue sheet will be emailed to registered participants.
Check your email before setting out. Any changes will be emailed to registered participants by 8:00 AM on ride day.
Please use the rest room in the ferry terminal. The first (and only) rest stop is at mile 14.
We will not be stopping for lunch. It may be too cold to eat outside and it's still unsafe for a group to eat inside. We suggest you bring pocket food.
Important: you must remove yourself from the list (or email the ride leader jzisfein@gmail.com) if you will not be riding. Failure to follow this instruction could get you restricted from signing up in the future.
Other stuff: Helmets are required on all 5BBC rides. Also bring a spare tube and water. We're still in a pandemic so wear a face covering and keep social distance.
