And full credit to Mel and Thane's Graffiti ride which proved so popular (although it, too, was postponed due to snow/slush conditions) we started another tranche of it.

Did you know there's so much wonderful street art out there, elevated way past the level of "graffitti" . . and that some of the rougher ("edgy"?) neighborhoods have the most impressive street art. We will be looking at some amazing art in Brooklyn and Queens, primarily the Bushwick Collective, Messrole Street In Brooklyn, and Welling Court area in Astoria, Queens. Between those areas we pass through many lovely parks and waterfronts.

The ride starts in Brooklyn, and all riders will be notified of the start location at least two days in advance.  Rides are limited to 8 riders and 2 leaders (everyone else gets waitlisted). There is no official lunch stop for this short ride - so pack plenty of hydration, plus snacks or a sandwich or pocket food if you tend to get hangry. 

IMPORTANT - -  PLEASE, if you can no longer make the new scheduled date be sure asap to unregister and email the ride leader advising such. And if you are on the registered list but later find you can't participate, please don't wait till last minute (nor be a no show), as not withdrawing in time from the ride prevents others on the wait-list from participating. So let's be fair and share!

BRING - -The usual you take on a ride such as spare tube, pump, patch kit, any unusual things for your bike, subway card (in case of bailing). And you will definitely want to take pics on this ride (so dress warm for weather and gawking and photo stops and some walking around).  In case of bad weather check this ride listing for changed start times or cancellations.
