One last hurrah (well, I hope not but the daylight hours are getting SHORT). Meet at the Westbury LIRR Station at 8:05 am. We ride through some burbs and by some parks until we hit Pulaski Road for about 9 miles. It's busy but with a good shoulder and we'll break it up with a lunch break at about mile 21 in East Northport. After another 4 miles we hit some nice winding and rolling roads for the remaining 20 miles. We will be aiming to catch the 2:43 pm train home from Port Jefferson, but if it doesn't look like that's going to work we can  take the 4:13 pm.  However, sundown is at 4:43 that day so we REALLY don't want to be later than that. There are bailouts en route if necessary.

Bring lights, front and back. Even though we will be officially off the road before sundown, you'll probably be getting home from the train in the dark. Also be sure to bring the usual, spare tube, pump or CO2 cartridges, water and snacks.

Current forecast is for cloudy with temps in the 40's. Dress appropriately.

NO POINT DROP SWEEP. Because of the daylight time constraints, all riders must be able to maintain 16 mph on the flats.
