Scenic ride through Long Island, riding on mostly quiet roads. We'll make some quick stops to take in some of the beautiful beaches in Long Island, and then stop for a late lunch in Locust Valley, mile 28, before returning back to Westbury LIRR.  8:18 train from Penn Station arrives at 9:04.  Approx. 1400' of elevation gain, there will be some climbing. Please be able to maintain a pace of 14 mph on flats for this ride, and you must register for this ride on the 5BBC registration page.  This ride is limited to 8 riders, first come.

(Please re-check the LIRR schedule before you start out.  They seem to be making some last minute schedule changes). We will meet in the Parking Lot. There is a bathroom in the train station.
