A Slice and a Beer
Primary tabs

Let's start the weekend rolling with a Slice and a Beer. The ride takes us from Prospect Park and up the Hipster Highway. Along the way, we pass through new Domino Park and Transmitter Park for some great river views. We ride through Greenpoint and stop in McGolrick Park to visit the impressive Monitor Sculpture. Then its time for pizza. We are going to visit Carmine's on Graham Avenue. This is a wonderful neighborhood slice joint. And what goes better with pizza than beer? From Carmines it's just a hop, skip and a jump to one of Brooklyn's newest breweries - 18th Ward Brewing. Having done a "scout" here this past week - the leaders of the ride can personally vouch for the quality of their beer.
As with all Brewery Series Rides - this is a one way ride. There is a nearby subway. Of course, you are welcome to ride home as well. HOWEVER - remember that excessive drinking and city cycling at night are a dangerous mix - DRINK RESPONSIBLY.
BRING - A good lock, lights, helmet, and your spirit of adventure.
