This Wednesday, August 28, is the official grand opening of the new Kosciuszko Bridge connecting Brooklyn and Queens.  Wednesday, from 12 PM Noon to 6 PM, the new Brooklyn-bound span will be open exclusively for pedestrians and bicyclists, before it opens to vehicular traffic Thursday morning. We will ride from Grand Army Plaza to the Bridge, take the path into Queens and then head back over the bridge to Brooklyn and make our way back to GAP.  This will not be the usual all day ride. We expect to get back to the start by 2 so no lunch stop during the ride. Bring some snacks to eat while checking out the amazing view from the bridge in addition to the usual  hydration and upbeat attitude.
