It's time to boogie in the Bronx!

More precisely, boogie around the Bronx as the Perimeter Series continues with a circumnavigation of NYC's only mainland borough. Our tour will include Barretto Point Park, Soundview Park, Clason Point, Pugsley Creek Park, Ferry Point Park, SUNY Maritime College, Pelham Bay Park, City Island, Orchard Beach, Co-op City, Riverdale, and end back where we start.

This is a REVERSE of the ride we did on 7/28 so that the hills of Riverdale are included and out of the way mostly at the beginning of the ride. you joinced us on 7/28, you may want to do this again just for the fun of doing it backwards AND actually doing 100% of the perimeter (not required as those who registered and rode most still qualify for the patch).

We will offer two options for lunch.

One is what makes this a beach bum - check back closer to the date for a way to order lunch to be picked up along the way and eaten at our 60 minute Beach Bum stop at Orchard Beach.

Or, if you are inclined, one of the leaders will take you over to City Island early for lunch at Tony's (or if you insist on eating in less coverage and no a/c - Johnny's - leader at Tony's will text 10 minute warning before leaving). All timing to be adjusted based on the realities on the ground of riding that day. We will have multiple sweeps to help deal with the inevitable mechanicals on hot summer days and keep the group moving.
