Well, this weekend is supposed to be sunny, dry, and with a high temp of 81 degrees F. You all know what that means, TIME TO GET BACK TO CYCLING! This is a one way journey from Grand Army Plaza, which will take us down along the Rockaways, and then up through the towns of Lawrence, Hewlett, and Oceanside, where we will end at Barrier Brewing Co, for a well deserved beer. This ride has very little elevation, and some great ocean views along the way. we will be starting the ride at 10:00 AM, and ending at Barrier Brewing at around 1:30 or so. from there, the LIRR East Rockaway station is approx. 2 blocks away. The trains run every hour back to NY Penn Station, so remember to bring your Bike Pass. (The MTA one will work fine.) 

There is usually a food truck or two in the parking lot, otherwise, food delivery is available to the brewery. 

This will be a moderate ride, and we will be keeping 12-15mph on the flats (barring any massive headwinds!)
